the club need to check the pricing. On searching Treamble Valley the from price was totally different to the cheapest cost which was in October for one person and pitch.

However I don't want it at those prices even if I can afford it, all down to your perspective.wink

Happy Christmas, I'm off to watch a film. smile

I'm not too bothered about price alone. What counts for us is what we get for our money.

We don't go for big commercial sites with multiple water slides and late night discos, but over the last few years we have found sites with a mixture of facilities - indoor and outdoor pools, bike hire, canoe hire, a fishing lake, cafe/ bar, shop, trampoline and bouncy castle for kids, even space for football, eat in or takeaway meals, free wi-fI, guided local walks, better bathrooms than we have at home, and one with a free drinks party for everyone hosted by the owners.

I would happily pay the going rate for Club sites if only they had something on offer.

To me "Ripped Off" is one of the most misused terms in the English language.  You are only ripped off if you don't know the consequences of the price before you buy. You are perfectly aware of how much a Club site costs before you book so you have choice. Now you may think they are poor value but no one booking a Club site is ripped off.

However, I don’t think I’ll be singing the praises of cruising even when I'm old and set in my ways.

Sounds as though you have never been on a cruise TW.

It doesn’t appeal in the slightest so why would I want to, PD?

I guess the same reason you prefer to not tour over there, the thoughts of it fills you with dread.

That’s a huge assumption and I find it rather rude, PD.

I have my reasons but they are personal and not for discussion here. End of!
