Pre-arrival texts

I’ve heard of a few people who have received texts just before their booking start dates reminding them of the 1300 arrival time. I’m told the wording makes it clear they will be turned away if they arrive early. This is in addition to the usual booking reminder emails.

I’m wondering if CAMC is taking steps to curb early arrivals. Has anyone here received a text?

I have been paying whatever the fee is and has been for the last 38 years and never yet read the rules.

Yes you've mentioned this already and I'm not sure what your point is to be honest?

But as I replied before whether you read them or not you personally agree to abide by them every time you book a club site, and that is what this thread is all about? The set arrival time?

Personally I'd like to know what I am agreeing to and even more so when paying for a membership fee.

My point is I don’t need to read rules to know how to behave and respect others. Might just be the way I was brought up.

I may well have said this before, but as we use a variety of club, private and CL sites we always check the check in times, as they vary greatly. That is jut the way it is, and we adjust our travelling accordingly. I fail to see what the problem is.

I think the problem is that many don’t do as you do and just turn up when they like. Sometimes 5 / 10 minutes early, other times an hour or more.

So if you haven't read them how did you know it was a 1pm arrival time? undecided

It's still irrelevant what you do as it's what others do that we're talking about and as said it's what one/they agree to which is more important I would say?

But good to know you stick to the set arrival time, so do I.
