just on Clumber Park site for the weekend, can’t believe the lack of respect for people’s privacy. The worst site we have been on for people short cutting straight across pitches because they are too bone idle to walk the proper way round, passing right by the windows without a thought for respect or privacy. One guy even doing it 3 times on the trot, yes you fetching your gas bottle!!

All though we haven't been members that long we have noticed over the yesrs, people's attitudes have changed not just walking through pitches but cleaning up after themselves, in the showrrs. My wife thinks it's a sign of the times, I think it's gone idleness.

To be honest lazy and antisocial people have always been around. Even my old gran used to complain about exactly the same sort of thing many decades ago.

They walk amongst us today just like they did then!

We used the cafe at one of our hospitals today run by volunteers? there are several of the" Tray towers"? which patrons are asked to use to assist keeping Tables clear when leaving the cafe we spent about 30mins there and apart from us only one other patron put their  tray with their used plate and cups in any of them they just left the tables for either the next patron or the busy staff to clear the tableyell

Try fishing line. Hard to see, a swine to untangle. Mind it doesn’t get you though!πŸ˜‚

Tempting though that may be, any cause of injury to a person could get you in court.    Some years ago - I'm sure it was on a C&CC site - a woman had put a clothes line from her van handle to a tree.  Without washing on it, it was not very visible and a young lad rode through on his bike. The line caught him in his upper body region and fetched him off.  Although the line was on her pitch she got into trouble over it.

We make a point of avoiding corner pitches or pitches where it is convenient to walk through as a short cut to amenities.  More or less similar idleness as parking as close as possible to a supermarket entrance, and joining the jostle when the further end of the car park is virtually empty.

Funny, innit! Campers do the outdoor thing for health exercise, then take short cuts instead of following the proper route.   Nowt so queer as folk!wink
