And I did say getting on for10% .... I was leaving the sums to you.

Again parentages are misleading, they have to apply to a value. You're saying 8.7% is getting on for 10%? Is 8.7 p getting on for 10p - maybe, Is £8.70 getting on for £10? Is £87 getting on for £100, £870 to ...

In any case the price has gone up by £4 or 8.7%, all one has to do is decide to pay it or not. Could be any increase but the same question.

What the heck have all the latest post to do with non-electric pitches? This is more than subject drift, it's more about the posters not the OP.

Ok fine, rounding may not be your strong point though with all due respect, all those round to 9, 90, 900... when taken to 1dp and/or even 1sf but we all round differently and that's fine unless it's critical in some way as I used to say.

Reminds me of a shepherd I knew who had 28 sheep in a field, but when she rounded them up she had 30 smile

Two plus two equals five (for rounded up values of two).

How about we go back to the original topic before we all forget what it was . . . ?

Ok a pint of beer then?

Posted on 03/10/2022 14:18

Depends where you buy your beer from £2.50 from your local Weatherspoons or £10+ from a 5 Star hotel bar.
