Good morning. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience being caused with the implementation of our new booking system. Members and guests are able to make bookings through the new system however this is not the complete experience we have designed.

Please be assured our IT and Technical Teams are working extremely hard to resolve all of the issues as soon as possible.

I've emailed the club suggesting that they introduce a premium that covers members in the event that they need to cancel. Many hotels use this

Yes good idea, I posted somewhere that when we use certain holiday lets the insurance is offered, on short stays it's done by the day.

And let's be clear in relation to some posters, the mid week discount did not apply to most club sites.

Also it was not there to help people financially to go to club sites.  It was there to entice people to use the less popular club sites during the week. It was never offered on the sites I've used maybe because they were popular enough already.

I would not class FM as not a popular. sitesurprised

I can only comment on the sites that we've visited lately, and they have been busy mid week

If I'm reading that correctly then you are saying it is a popular site?

In which case it should not have the MWD otherwise the club is giving money away when it doesn't need to. It may be of course less less popular during the week as I stated.

Agreed. Lets not forget that its the minority who post here so the views expressed are not representative. Bustling sites suggest club support is strong

Posted on 17/11/2022 17:20

Are the views of any poster being member or not cannot be representative of others views especially if they have not spoken to the members on sites ,   who are usually of the silent majority, some have no idea the club has its own members CT website, but many it seems are now finding it,  with the amount of posts from members on the hundreds of pages of "comments" posted

And your point is?undecided

It seems you have not read the reasons I posted yell

Posted on 17/11/2022 17:23

I though that I had made my point but  I will repeat it "I do not agree with your claim that you represent the the majority of club members". I understand that's your view but I just don't agree with it. And I hope you accept that is my view.

Not sure of the large holiday park as unless a major. Problem wiil always go for our annual meet up with friends who belong to either this the ccc or no club so never have bothered to check

The other 20 Van site we have booked in  place of this clubs sites over this Christmas and New Year and in July 2023 as explained earlier is really customer service orientated

They are both in Norfolkwink

Posted on 17/11/2022 17:24

But surely JVB if there are so many people as you say that these sites give consideration of the older generation with so much more customer service orientated why don't you mention them by name so that the can be used so many more reading them?

Up to you but what's the harm is giving their names?

If they are the silent majority how do you know their views? And majority? How many do you speak to?

No idea of CT? how do they book by phone?

I go to a lot of club sites and I rarely speak to anyone and never about club site prices. I must be missing out or look too grumpy to approach (rhetorical) but what I do see, time and time again, is lots of outfits.

As someone said the hundreds of pages are shared between many of the same posters, they are not all individual.
