Good morning. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience being caused with the implementation of our new booking system. Members and guests are able to make bookings through the new system however this is not the complete experience we have designed.

Please be assured our IT and Technical Teams are working extremely hard to resolve all of the issues as soon as possible.

I know this is dreadful for loads of members but I am also sparing a thought for the poor Wardens who didn't sign up for this kind of experience. They must be going through hell at the moment and some may even have torn the socket out of the telephone line, quite understandably.

It might make it even harder to maintain staffing levels next year after this.

I have Deleted User the original app and also the new one and reinstalled without success.

I have done the same David also without success both on my tablet and smart phone.  My thanks to others who also replied.

I have reported the problem to the Club.

They had time in the sandpit. Were they happy with it or over ruled if they expressed dissatisfaction. In all honesty I am not having too many problems with the web site but I have no bookings and have not completed any. There are areas full of data errors and lacking detail but the functionality is there.

Just read on CAMC FB that the "dog phone call" is being resolved, it shouldn't have been on the UK section at all, intended for trips abroad. Who checked all this, who passed it as fit for purpose, was there pressure for the site to go live when it wasn't ready?

I'm not on FB but have been reading the posts, the dog question was one of the very few posts that got a response. What's happening about the App complaints? So many questions now need answering.

What an absolute disgrace the “new improved” booking system is. I’ve had to wait over 2 months to book for the beginning of June as the old system wouldn’t allow bookings past 31 st May as the new system would be going live soon. I’ve tried every night for almost a week now. System keeps crashing. Get cut off on the phone as they’re overloaded, no wonder. Then when you finally get in the phone queue, are left on hold until you give up. And where has the late booking section gone where you can quickly check availability in the next 3 weeks? Teething problems? Where’s a dentist when you need one?

Absolute nightmare

The only thing I can find that relates to sites is a BOOKING PAGE - I just want to look athe site details before I make a booking!

I have a booking, but HOW DO YOU GET TO THE SITE?  THERE ARE NO DIRECTIONS !!

HELP - WHERE ARE THE SITE DIRECTIONS?????

In most cases sites directions say DO NOT FOLLOW SATNAV or dream up your own directions using Google Maps. I can see many caravans getting stuck.

Someone's head needs to roll !!

It's me again...I found this on "Get Directions" link on the website.

Disclaimer – Routes provided may include roads unsuitable for vehicles towing trailers or caravans. There may also be specific weight, width or height restrictions. For caravan-friendly local directions, please use the directions on the relevant Club Site or CL Site details page or your Sites Directory and Handbook for the final approach.

DO NOT FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS FROM GOOGLE MAPS

I know for a fact that the directions for getting to St Davids Club Site in Wales have previously been stated as "Unsuitable for Caravans"

When is the next AGM!!!

Personally I think the only people making it difficult are the club. There should be some clear guidance on where to leave reviews, find safe directions to sites, phone numbers etc and there isn’t. I must be missing something because I can’t see how to get to that page I linked from the top menu bar. I worked it back through the menus from latest activity / reviews. Surely a link saying leave a site review would be the most obvious thing to do.

Steve, I have found a way through the maze, and you can still leave a review. Assuming a Club Site, click on find a UK Campsites, ignore the bookings button, scroll down to Countries, click on a Country, scroll down, click on a County, choose the site, click on the read more reviews button, at the top of that page page to the right, in red script it should say rate and review this Site. If after all this you are still awake, write your review!

Yes, it is relevant as it proves your claim vehicle recalls are rear, is inaccurate
For God's sake give the club a reasonable period of time, to sort what is a complex piece of software, before complaining
I tried it, and it worked perfectly for me, maybe it a user problem, not a software problem.
Deposits are here to stay, blame those that abused the other system for the change, probably many of those that are complaining

You provided a link to a site detailing every car manufacturer in the world listed A to Z and the facility to look up recalls on every model year by year from 1992. The data within the files contains absolutely nothing whatsoever related to the issues of concern here and is only relevant to the motor car industry and problems there in. I don't have the time in my life to trawl through all the data to prove a point. Check out the voices of genuine concern on here and try to understand their point of view and dissapontment in the new system. We need a Snagging List to address the issues of concern here and try to resolve the issues to the benefit of all members.
