You will find a few if you visit places like Rock but your post is way off the mark, Elliodme. In fact, I’m not sure why you posted those inaccurate words, tongue in cheek or not.🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

loads of room in north Devon and not a "tv celebrity" in sight. Strange post indeed.

Have none of you got a sense of humour, have you not noticed all the TV Celebrities telling us about Cornwall and Devon as if we have never heard of them, lighten up 

If the TV adverts are anything to go by and the way some. "celebs? "seem to portray what they are doing, when watching their "antics ?"I agree and we need to keep vigilant

I have a sense of humour and don't need to be told to "lighten up" - that's rather rude, btw.

Had you posted in the much more appropriate Fun & Trivia, It would have been obvious you were on a leg pull and I would simply have dismissed it as trivia and moved on.

The gardener came yesterday and the cleaning lady is due today, but I would hardly call either of them celebrities. Other than that we haven’t seen a soul all week.
The point is that there are parts of Cornwall with hordes of tourists at the moment and other parts where there are no visitors at all. By all means come on down, but be selective about where you go.

Celebrity endorsements can be useful - it’s a useful ‘heads up’ on places best avoided.

I see Paul Merton is taking a UK  motorhome trip, tomorrow's TV and it will be interesting to see where he goes and what he sees. 

As far as I am concerned, the most fantastic creature to be seen off the Devon and Cornwall coast, (and a few more nice places) is Wally the Walrus! Now he is a truly memorable visitor.

So called celebs have always been around in Cornwall, they are like the rest of us, like to visit (and sometimes live) in gorgeous places. I have lost count of how many TV and film stars we have seen or shared a ferry with down the last 30 years or so.
