Charging electric cars on Club sites.

With the government wanting all cars to be electric in years to come and some MHers have them as runarounds how do you think the club should address the issue, This is NOT a thread against electric cars.

Do you think the club should change the bollard to accommodate the second connection, have a designated charging area and should the charging bollard be metered so you pay as you use, or the cost added to pitch fee, or any other suggestion.

Another question we need to ask the club is regarding charging business vehicles on site. I can understand them not charging for now EV used for leisure purposes, but what about people who stay on site and use their vehicles for business purposes, should they pay.

Don't think it's a problem, if you read back over several posts,, Tesco would not increase my limit on part time work wages.

Sorry but I don't understand

BTW surely everyone must understand that someday credit card bills need to be paid back - or do they intend to settle it out of their estate.

If you haven't got it, they can't have it.

I prefer a driving job because the experience of coping with varying traffic conditions is useful to me, especially as I rely on having the necessary driving skills because of using my caravan all the year round and having to tow it between sites fairly frequently.

Also fast food delivery driver work is easier for me to get because of having relevant experience and a track record of continuous employment in this trade.

As it is a 2015 model caravan that has been regularly serviced each year, it too will have safety measures that have been subjected to rigorous testing.

Have you checked what is carried out on a caravan serviceundecided

They certainly don't check the electrical wiring, other than the most basic check, unles you pay extra. Something like £140 extra.

I'm sure I read somewhere your driving skills kerbed the car in fog causing premature wear of the tyres due to wheel misalignment undecided Maybe driving inappropriately in poor conditions, or reading the delivery address maybe.

Whatever, I believe all you tell me even if it does change from page to page laughing

Not quite the case, it would appear:

QUOTE:Today is Monday and I'm due back at work on Friday, so only a few days holiday left!

We'll be taking the caravan to the dealer servicing in Chipping Sodbury on 4th. Not all of the work is under warranty though. Luckily, Tesco Bank increased the credit limit on my credit card, so extra funds are available to foot the bill and extra points to go with it!

It will depend on what time they finish the work as to whether we'll get back to Lancing on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. If it gets dark, I'll stop overnight at the services and wait until the morning daylight to arrive so that we have the benefit of daylight to pitch the caravan and set up the awning etc.
