It would be great to have feedback on the caravan sites and how the safety measures are working. We will be watching for the next two weeks to see how safe the sites are before we decide to start touring again.  Maybe a lot of people will put reviews on individual caravan sites.

This thread is specifically and solely for members currently visiting sites to offer useful feedback.

OnTuesday last week there was a sign outside the site office of a local  club site, saying  " please book in in office  one member only at any time"

Ps gas and other essentials were also still on sale

Perhaps they have decided that is the easiest way to do things. I don't suppose it should take much longer than normal to book in. They generally only did one at a time. It's just the position of the queue that has changed.

If you get 10 plus vans turn up at 12 or 1 you are going to get a queue unless you just take cards and sort payment later, which to me seems the best system if there is a rush.

Just re-read the CAMC Covid Safe details and it still says payment by card over phone on site. Will see what happens on our trip out soon. smile

The only difference with the "Frenzy" arrivals at 1200/1300 is it seems only one member in the office  With the "new?" way of  booking in maybe more "advise" from site staff is being given (and forgotton)that is slowing booking in which in time will be the "norm"  and will be accepted as all thingscool
