Hi everyone,

Looking to book for 2019? Right now, you can book up to and including 31 March 2019. We've changed the way we put UK Club site pitches on sale so you can now book up to a year ahead, all year round. All you need to remember is whichever month we are in, you can book up to and including the same month next year. Find out more: Improving your Club experience and on our FAQs.

We now have twelve frenzy days, and it will not solve the problem of wk end  bookings which effects anybody touring around, still there is always the supply of the commercial sites which fill the gap by insisting on higher fee's for fri sat or min 3 night stay. This club seem to be moving away from the tourist to the static wk ender on a season let or in a pod they not interested in mid week bookings so long as the wk/ends are solid.

The club's choice....

The Club doesn't offer a choice of grass or H/S (other than by booking a serviced pitch perhaps where available) on mixed sites, and seems unwilling to do so.......

I didn't bring price into it.......

I was making the point that your comment about comercial sites giving the "choice?"is was not any different where we are going to a cc site

Maybe a minimum 5 night stay on popular sites then?

That wouldn't be the 5 nights you've told us you often stay would it, Alan? wink

Now,  let's not go down the minimum stay route! smile

Yep wink

They do that on some C&CC sites (and some commercials). I must say though that I don't approve.

Now that the new "more advanced" booking system is in place the prices for 2019 are being published. Has anyone worked out what the percentage price increases are? How does it compare to the the 2018 increases?

It's interesting reading through the FAQs as it looks as though some months might get released together. see here

I think I remember reading somewhere that they are looking at doing that over the summer months.

When you think about it though by only releasing 1 month at a time it could make booking the last week of one month and the first week of the next for a fortnight stay a little awkward.

Surely they would have the sense to release both December and January together, and March/April when Easter falls at the end of the month, as it does this year. Not to do so would cause havoc for many members.
