Looks like we need to book before 5 December to avoid price increases.

Hmm...... I have just checked a reservation I have for a booking next year, in September, and the price has now changed! I thought the Club were honouring bookings made prior to the second price increase? frown

It’s in my bookings profile. Confused? You bet!

Same here TTDA.  Just checked a booking for York, booked for 4 nights, same price each night before.  Now the first night is well over £26, originally just short of £23, that's quite an increase.

At the bottom of the email it does say: Don't worry if you see an updated price in 'My 'Profile' - for any bookings made prior to 5 Dec 2018 you will pay the original price quoted on arrival at site.

I'm not sure that I actually trust this system to 'know' that I booked it at the old price; how will they be able to tell?  The fact that there were problems earlier today in uploading the new prices don't fill me with confidence........

Ah, thanks😀 I missed that bit first time around. Some of the price increases are a bit of an eye opener, it’s over £3 per night more than what we paid last year at York. 🤔

Same here.  The price for the 1st night there now is £26.50, when I booked it, it was just under £23 (not exactly sure of the exact price, but it was about £22.70 or thereabouts, didn't keep a note of it).  That is one 'ell uv an increase!

The period I'd booked (4 nights) was all the same price, now the 1st night falls in a higher price bracket than the other 3, which are now £23.20, so that hasn't increased by that much.

To be honest, (and as someone responsible for setting price scales in Leisure Industry) I find Clubs pricing policy very unfriendly from a user point of view. It’s a heck of an exercise checking each day, each period, and often for nothing more than a 10p variation. Very off putting for anyone comparing costs, has us walking away from Club Site bookings at times. I predict the CLs are going to have a bumper season next year when folks start comparing Summer prices. Only Club Sites we use on a regular basis nowadays are the basic no facility ones or Racecourse sites. But that’s us, tight Yorkshire folk!laughing

That's a huge increase (13%). Hope that doesn't apply to many sites.🤞 Mine only increased by £3 to £5 for the week, which worked out at around 2%. Even going back to 2018 prices mine calculate at 5 / 6 % more expensive. Have they changed the pricing band, or have they perhaps not fixed the problem yet?

ISTM that the "book early too save money" Email is the perfect motivator for speculative advance bookings which can be cancelled at will later. Did CAMC 'really' intend that?

Has anyone looked at Kinlochewe, & Dunnet Bay ..the price rise from 2017 for each is eyewatering. Looks like the club is cashing in on the North Coast 500.

Kinlochewe - 2017 from £14:40, 2019 from £19:50

Dunnet Bay - 2017 from £16:70, 2019 from £22:20
