Please note arrival time has changed for Ferry Meadows. We are due to stay there in a few days and checked our booking which said arrival time 13:00 not 12:00 . We have noticed a few sites have changed booking in times, so best to check before setting off, as the wardens will not let you in earlier.

As site managers will mostly say that many members now realise that many sites are very busy with weekenders and it is becoming that  sites are busy on a Thursday , as it seems to be almost the new Fridaycool

When the sites opened when HMG allowed them to open this year many were contacting arriving members to advise that some would be accepted from 0900, and others were given arrival slots to try to alleviate a rush to be firstsurprised

They seemed to have very efficient "Covid safe" check in at Southport. A warden with a check list crossed us off  and gave us the printed material site plan etc. It had the number to ring and pay once we were pitched. Once that was done one of us could walk to the office and pick up barrier and shower block keys .

However it still didn't eliminate queues altogether.

We had the same fast track arrival at Sutton on sea site and it just managed to keep the arrivals from blocking the lane outside the site
