Why not GG? There is water and waste disposal, facility blocks too if you want to use them. The only difference is you are near to an attraction for which the pitch fee includes entry if you wish to attend. By the way was the Norfolk show horrendous?

I can book a club site for any day throughout the year but the Norfolk show for only 4 days every year.

True, but as a site the facilities are no different to other sites, in fact they are better than many other pop up sites. The Malvern Show just happens to be there at a time we want to be in the area so I am going to use it rather than the Club site.

And so you should. But as people have posted you perhaps shouldn't pass it off as a normal, traditional site and use it to compare it to club site for prices and extras. It's  a show site and therefore subsidised and only happens at certain  times, unlike most other club and non club sites.

As for me trying such sites l'll gladly pass, by now I know exactly what I like and mixing with thousands as you put it isn’t on my list.

Horses for courses. We have been to Warner shows, but as day visitors. If we wanted to visit for more than one day, or visit a show that was some distance from home then we would certainly consider using the on site camp site.
We have also used Haven sites, in October, not half term, for a few nights away with a swimming pool on site. We don’t use any of the other facilities. At £10 a night for hardstanding serviced pitch it was a reasonable break.
