We will be joining our inlaws for a week at Pentwyn sands next July but before this, we would like to spend 2-3 weeks somewhere quieter (and cheaper!) We use the facilities in our van so looking for sites that have reasonable sized, level'ish pitches. We love walking so scenic would be good. Recommendations please?

Another vote for Higher Bochym Farm on the Lizard but also we like Green Pig Farm near between Penzance and St Ives with fantastic views over St Michael's Mount.

I know lots of Cornish CLs, but if you narrow down where you fancy it would be easier. West Penwith area is good, because the weather can be quite different depending upon which coast you fancy. Lots of the Poldark locations are down there as well, stunning coves and beaches if you don't mind a bit of a walk! Happy

Duly noted! We are fancying Exmoor next Summer, looks very nice. Good price as well. Won't be July for us, bit earlier, still planning, thank you.

Looks good, but you won't be able to take the dog along, takethedogalong! Sad

Oh dear, hadn't checked. Sad Never mind, we shall find somewhere. We used Burrowhayes Private site a good few years ago, not far from Minehead. That was nice, but not sure what it is like now.

Thanks Brue! We stayed one Autumn, was very quiet. We did some lovely walks straight out of site. Great location. We stayed in a cottage in Dunster four years ago, and drove by, noticed stables and caravan site still there! Laughing
