Motorhomes - servicing whilst touring

We tour a lot more than we did when we had a caravan.  We would like to be able to empty and fill our tanks without the need to stay at a club site.  Most club sites have a suitable service point for grey and black waste  and drinking water points.  Why do they not let members on tour use these facilities ?

I agree with R4Dent. He is not asking for anything for free and ought to get some benefit from the membership fees (and any additional charge the club might make, like the £7 for the C&CC). To me this is the major advantage of C&CC membership and I really don't see why so many in the Motorhome & Caravan Club are making out that r4Dent's request is anything other than a very reasonable suggestion which would benefit both the Club and members who may wish to use facilities in a slightly more flexible way than others have become used to.

This thread is nearly 3 years old, Swambi, and the subject has been discussed several times during the ensuing period. In one of the threads Rowena posted an official response giving the club’s reasons for not providing such a facility so, unless people lobby the club directly and persuade the hierarchy to change their views, things will stay the same.
