Bit late to the debate but a few weeks ago we were on the C&MC site at Middlesbrough, site newly refurbished  whole new mh service point with 3 round grates for waste water drop yell why did they not put a central drive over grid? Yes I  can manage to lift them but you have to drive over them first to position your mh in the right place..

That doesn't sound like a refurbished motorhome point to me. They should look something like this. To answer BB points whilst some points are outside the toilet block, I imagine because that is where the main drains are on some sites they are in completely separate locations. the one below is at Brecon and the new one a Seacroft is in a similar situation.

Absolutely ,and with our neighbours  comments when we were at Hawes then even more so,its the lack of competance of what seems most motor caravan owners/leasers and hired drivers that need some thought rather than blame any otherswink

When we were there last year they still had the older style with lift up covers but they have obviously been updated as part of the extension which is good to know.

So in summary motorhomers are at fault, motorhome design is at fault CC Ltd is totally incapable of doing, or getting anything wrong and you are not in the least biased.  Oh, and the Somerset Tamworth air display team are doing night time training flights laughing.

And your reason for not agreeing?  that at least one organisation is trying to get round poor motor caravan design, with a cost effective solution ,to cater for the minority of its members ,who  normally spend  thousands of pounds more  than the majority on vehicles that are fitted with equipment that is basically not fit for purpose wink
