The new discussion website is absolute rubbish. It's so user unfriendly, god knows how to navigate it. I certainly will not try looking at it again. If the idea was to prevent members easy access to express their views you have in my opinion certainly succeeded. Bring back the old easy accessible site!!!

and another thing .....

the 'new post' tag on  a thread is doing its own thing. How can it show 'new post' when it was me that made the last post ..... I know there is, I made it!

Just finding the discussion page from the log on page is the first of many frustrations.

PS. There is no such county as Dyfed, but CC has changed my address to it, I live in Pembrokeshire, at least you could get that basic right !!!!

Anyone know why we have a p in the bottom left hand corner of the reply box?

We were told it was programming data (or something like that!? wink)

For some reason the new forum wants to place me in a different area to which I come from. I keep changing this in the profile but it just reverts back to where it wishes me to 'come' from. One explanation I guess may be that it can't differentiate between where a person deems they come from, which is what it states under our post photos (see left) and a different post code address of convenience.

I'm still new to this but I'm finding conversations disjointed, because you only get the 1 previous comment on a quote you have to scroll back pages to find what had been commented on previously frown it doesn't seem to flow like before. Might be the CC's way of stopping conversations going off thread I suppose but I'm already finding it not as friendly.

Oh and not being able to see your last 5 or 6 topics that you have posted on, on the right hand side. Very time consuming clicking here and there to find your posts, oh and when you look at the first page of discussions it doesn't show you who was the last to comment on a thread, so you have to open each and every thread to see who it was just in case someone has replied to something you/others have posted. Or am I missing something undecided

TG. If you click on  "motorhomer from Perthshire" under your avatar you can see your latest posts. The latest posts on discussions show by time and date when you click on the discussion you want to read....it take a few days to get used to the set up. wink

Thanks, brue. We learn something new every day, don't we!wink

Must admit though that it doesn't help a great deal as it only list 4 items and all the post one has liked too. It take for ages and then once one is selected it only take you to the opening post and not one's last one.
