The new discussion website is absolute rubbish. It's so user unfriendly, god knows how to navigate it. I certainly will not try looking at it again. If the idea was to prevent members easy access to express their views you have in my opinion certainly succeeded. Bring back the old easy accessible site!!!

I recall when the last website was updated the IT people adjusted the font and brightness. I'm sure it will all get sorted. I am ok with it as I don't like screens to be too bright but understand if it affects others.

I don't know yet if the new site is an overall improvement but so far not impressed, particularly with this pale blue/grey print. It was better when there were more comments on each page - don't need bigger pics. I haven't tried to add photos but if that is easier it would be a real gain.  It's early days so hopefully everyone's comments will be taken on board by the IT boffins.

I do wonder what advice was taken with regards to appropriate use of text size and colour when the CC developed the new website? Such as for people with visual disabilities or dyslexia. Rather than users having to download additional software/apps to increase the size of the text why couldn't the CC built in the facility to change text size contrast etc? Other websites have this facility. I wonder if the developers of the CC website read the Equality Act 2010.

Working fine on my Samsung Tab A

My tablet is a Samsung Tab 3 and the Comment box was still missing last night. Not sure if I am missing something but the Quote button does not work either just returning you to where you were.

Can one of the staff address the problem of us not being able to find the discussion we are following easily.  I have clicked the 'follow' button but have had no email notifications.  I have to keep going into my profile and finding the threads there - such a time consuming pain.  Could another way be found so that we can follow our discussions easily please.

Hi Milliehull,

I've spoken to the development team and they've notified me that the 'Follow this discussion' emails have been set to be sent out once a week.

We're changing this to daily, so you should see the emails in your inbox this week

Have you noticed "the sticky" is masking new posts to other threads in this topic.

Not masking it on my iPad.

I see we still have 6 posts. So I suppose if that continues, by the time there are 4 / 5 stickies, it won't be much different to the old site.
