Sorry but some of us like the magazine and it is part of the deal when you become a member but the advertising pays for it and everyone gets one because that gives them the circulation figures up to maximise advertising revenue. If they stopped sending you the magazine the advertising revenue would drop so rather than reducing yohr subs they would actually go up.

Given the regular magazines are £4 a month the clubs figure looks a little low.

I wonder whether their paying advertisers realise that the vast majority of the magazines go in the bin, barely opened?

I'm pleased that these advertisers subsidise our pastime even if I pay little attention to their efforts.

We're talking £2 per year here, Ellio. Bleed em dry? Hardly.

And apparently you can recoup that by just joining a rally on a club site for a night! WinkLaughing

No, we are talking 5% here.......another 5%.

But if you're happy to pay ever increasing head office overhead costs i.e. a load of staff who add nothing to the caravanning experience......then you will no doubt be content with massively inflation-busting increases, year on year.

Do I take it you're cancelling your membership then Ian?

Do I take it that you simply agree with everything that the CC chose to do then Moulesy?
