The £2 increase isn't that bad, we are new to caravaning last year was our 1st year away, we have just booked somewhere for the end of May, last year we paid £56 this year it's gone up to £83 that's a 40%'ish increase.

it does seem a lot of sites are far more expensive than last year, is it common to have such big increases?

That's a whopping big increase and I would say quite uncommon. It would help to know details of the site and dates involved in order to explain it though.

I'm afraid its not judt the CC that has a huge increase in prices, one of the resorts that we have been renting a bungalow on for years has increased its prices for next year from £400 to  £600, that is one heck of an increase.

The CC say that every member receives a printed advertising catalogue every month, ( they call it a Magazine )  which is worth £40.00 a year.

So if a customer opts to not receive said publication their annual membership fee will reduce by that £40.00 and the customer should only pay £ 8.00.

That seems fair and equitable dont you think.
