Is it a rip off?

Hi I have a rant to get off my chest

Just booked a site for 21 nights for an eye watering £540!   After I got back on my feet I was informed that Caravan and Motor home club have increased their Easter fees this week two weeks early.  Why I ask. even the management were embarrassed and thought it were shocking.

I spent 5 nights last week on a fabulous caravan and camping club site in heart of Northumberland with all the facilities and with over 60s discount £8 pn!

After only just re-joining I cannot  see the benefits of staying with  C&M club prices are beyond out reach.

One wonders why you found it necessary to wake this up again, BB, after more than 12 hours of silence.

I’m sure, too, that JK is quite capable of reading the posts and working things out for himself.

To mention Rocky in particular was a bit strange as if you considered he’d be the last person to understand and comment on your game.

Shall we now allow this aspect of the discussion to return to its slumber?

JK, I don't want it closed either (nor really any thread) but, with respect, the MO is the same every time....

earlier, CY made a 'dreadful CT forum faux pas' and used a collective noun, albeit in jest and with no malice that I could see.

within a few short minutes (and it was damn quick) we had the same posters all protesting and complaining about 'bad form'....not to mention the fact that they all be hurt, insulted, fet it unnecessary or whatever.

upthread, a few other posters (including Rocky btw) mentioned I'd made a good play on words, where I was taking the steam out of CY's comment...

a bit of friendly banter with M and alls well you think....

but no......it can't be left there by.......(fill in the blanks.)

ive reported this and the rest of my post (which would have no doubt 'upset' someone) to Ro to save anyone else the bother.

I  responded to CY with a jovial dig.

Ah but there’s been a variation. Evolution has now given us the self reporting CTer..........😂

”Miss, I have done wrong, I wish to confess.........” 🤣🤣🤣
