Frustrating

Is it just me or is anyone else frustrated with the caravan club!?  I've given up and joined the camping and caravan club. Their website is so much more user friendly. The search facility for the cc club is useless unless you are using your current location. Looked at booking holidays abroad,  but according to the caravan club they were unavailable. Not according to the site direct or the c&cc.  The app argggh, well @#$%, unless I'm in my current location.  The club websites don't work on post code either. Ive got 2 weddings to attend this year and neither website nor app can give me a site near the location of the wedding.  2 Sites now booked within 10 mins of the venues with the c&cc. I don't want to leave,  but the Cc club are making the decision easier and easier as time goes by. Surely this can't be just me :0 (

Hello, my name is cornersteady and I've just been appointed as chief moderator-in-chief for CT.

We know you care nothing for Internet security, Husky, but some of us do.

Don't you think it would have been much better if we'd been advised of Dean's role?

As for third degree, I've been nothing less than polite in asking questions on behalf of us all.

+1, or as Ian prefers - very true

Welcome D3po. If you get the CL search working as it was prior to the Death Star upgrade in December, I will be happy to call you Lord Vader!

Thanks Corners.

Now shall I be the sage, wise Obi, or the slightly squeaky but much better looking younger Obi? Decisions, decisions......laughing

When I click on my profile I see the banner, so figured you would see it there too. (I will insert a screen shot)

To clear things up there are three of us that where trained so you may expect to see some other new faces shortly too. We have full use of the moderator tools - deleting, moving, locking you name it but we all work in different areas of the contact centre as well so will do our best to answer any queries you may have.

Thanks for that, Dean. I guess it's yet another quirk of CT that the system isn't displaying your status banner.

Might it be an idea to get someone to introduce the other new mods to us? You've seen the problem but it shouldn't be necessary for ordinary posters to raise the issue.

So, you have full moderating powers. There's plenty out there for you to get started on. Lots of threads to move and duplicate threads to delete, posts that should be removed, trolls who should be suspended. I wish you good luck with that - you'll likely need it.
