As all sites and CC approved sites have been suspended for 3 months (30th June) are we to expect the CMHC to suspend all memberships for 3 months.? My membership is due in July so I'm a bit loathed to not be able to use it and go anywhere only to be hit with a renewal as the suspension is lifted.

We're all in the same boat.

That's easily solved - just find 3 or 4 willing "responsible adults" and then you can have more than one walk! wink

Unless you're in Wales you can go out more than once for exercise legally I think. The guidance is just once a day.

I'm too tired for more than once tbh.

He's a Husky,  not a Welsh Terrier (he is a bit of a Terrier though isn't he?)  wink

Just leave us alone says nation’s dogs.

The nation’s dogs have issued an urgent plea to be left alone in the lockdown. Animals that were normally fortunate if they’re allowed outside long enough to finish their business are now finding themselves forced outside for multiple long-distance walks

I’m just not into this said one Labrador. More often than not I’ve barley cocked my leg and they’re dragging me back in on the three I’m standing on. I’ve got used to laying in front of the fire letting out the occasional bottom burp to let them know I’m there. It’s a simple life but I like it. I’ve been out three times today and I’ve not had my lunch yet.

Some dogs did plan a protest march on Whitehall but it was cancelled when they realised it would mean more walking.

In Scotland you are allowed out 'for basic necessities, such as food and medicine. Trips must be as infrequent as possible' [no prescribed types of food, because the basic necessity is 'food', of all or any description]

AND

'daily exercise, for example a run, walk, or cycle - alone or with members of your household'

So, you can go out as often as you wish. Exercising the dog can be undertaken 'when necessary'

Social distancing rules are being enforced and, by and large observed by the people voluntarily, with couples crossing the road to maintain the 2 metres, and we noticed this weekend more family groups looking around to check before entering paths in the park that they are not unwittingly closing down the space.

Possibly a growing realisation that the increasing number of deaths means that we cannot afford to take chances?

We still get cyclists using the footpaths, in both the park and on the main street which closes the 2 metre space down, but  we need something to complain about ... Though if we had to search for it, we could grab a few more steps ...

Highlight of the day is twofold: First, looking for the daily death figures; second, checking to see if I'm on the list... So far, so good.

Steve

Anything in return again what about all the bills (as above) that the club is incurring on your behalf at the present time? As bad as you think this website is you are still using it to post on CT and perhaps booking sites for next year?

Are  you saying the costs of running this website should oblige us to remain members?

I said nothing of that sort anywhere David as you well know, but in case you missed it read my posts to HD and MM carefully for clarification and note what Watendlath posted on another thread?
