They get emails rapping them across the knuckles if they cancel within 72 hrs of the start of the booking.

Do members get a yellow/red card for booking pitches and the cancelling at last minut?

The pitches seem to get booked up very fast...

As TW said the offender will get a warning e-mail. If they continue to "abuse" the system they will be banned after 3 such warnings, I believe.

Hi McHugh and hi to all

Thanks so much for getting in touch. Please see here for the official Caravan Club policies regarding both late cancellations and early departures. It is our intention to keep touring flexible & with the relatively new procedure of monitoring who is cancelling late (and why) we have vastly reduced the amount of late cancellations, freeing up thousands of pitches for Member's (and non member's) to book.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Helen

Banned for two weeks last summer left first site early after being washed out, weather was terrible so stopped in services to inform second and third site I was cancelling.  The site wardens were excellent about it, but received an email/posted letter from CC I was banned from booking for two weeks.  Took me longer to dry out in my flat. But rules r rules.  Happy caravanning.
