Just had a letter today from the club. Opened it to find a letter stating I have now been a member for ten years and as a thank you in with the letter was a sticker which showed ive now been with the club for ten years. If this is how the club wishes to thank members they can stick it where the sun don't shine. Would it not be better to say hey thanks for being with us for ten years and here's a voucher for £5 off your next stay. So miffed ive stopped my automatic subscription

I received my 15 year membership sticker today and was overcome with gratitude that a computer algorithm had remembered this momentous event.

Perhaps when AI becomes more advanced the ‘algorithm ‘ would substitute a sticker for a site nights voucher which a member might appreciate more.

I don't know how to tell others this, but we have enjoyed free membership for years. It's very easy if you know the system.......

I've been a member of coming up to 19 years in September. Don't know how much I have paid in subscriptions but around £800? Well last September I got £1000 of free accessories on my new car by just showing my membership card. And yes that was after we had agreed the price of the car so I'm still in credit.

I got a factory fitted detachable towbar and electrics, mats, full tank of petrol, and stuff that I would have to shell out for anyway.

I don't give a phut about what a few others think. I just make my membership work to my advantage as I'm sure, as fellow members, you are meant too. You've just got to make a little effort yourself in this pursuit and I'm sure this is legitimately and totally acceptable..

Even after 50 years you don't get a bean so why after 10 would you even think the club would reward you, it's only people at East grinstead that get our rewards.

How do you work that out? What rewards are we due for voluntarily paying our membership and site fees and how do said mythical rewards go to employed staff at head office?πŸ€”

With what I saved, by being a CC member, on the car we bought, I will still be in credit if I reach 100.πŸ˜€

O dear, just chucked our '30 year' sticker in the bin - OH had some novel ideas on where to stick it, (anywhere other than on his precious van)
