Welcome to the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Ever since we came together as a group of outdoor enthusiasts 110 years ago, our Club has continued on a journey of discovery. It's time for us to make some changes for the better by redefining who we are to help you get the most of the great outdoors.

I’m sure you all have lots of questions, please post your feedback and queries in this thread.

What does our new logo mean? We created a video to explain how we created it:

Basically I just don't care, as long as I can holiday in my 'van', book some sites etc then they can call it what they like, when they like and as often as they like. Their provision of service falls short at the moment but I muddle through and nothing has held me up with this years outings. Unfortunately this problematic website has affected CL's more than anyone and that is what should have been the priority.

CT is a tool I use for passing time and can be any colour of the rainbow ................ just roll on the better weather.

How lucky are we? My BIG question is - is the CL search sorted? CL Reviews correct, ability to leave reviews etc That would be something to shout about.

I think the answer to that is no.

I haven't watched the new video as I am afraid as to what they might be trying to feed me. Probably related to the fact that I occasionally feel as though we are treated as mushrooms much of the time.

To be fair, organisations don't ask customers prior to a rebrand. I rebranded my company last year, I didn't ask my customers if they were ok with this, I just did it.

Get real!

BTW, How many of your customers pay a membership fee?

After rebranding did you have the arrogance to tell your customers they would be in for a better experience.

Just watched the opening few minutes of the video again.

One thing is apparent, Tim Cook and Apple have nothing to worry about have they? sealed

When Jobs (god rest his soul) announced the iPhone, there was nearly a riot in the theatre. Our Grenville announces the new name for the club... muted applause (I suspect only from the motorhomers in the audience)

Whilst I hope the Club succeeds in it's new direction (lets face it, the Club does need to get away from it's 'only open to the retired" stigma), any future presentations could do with being a lot more upbeat, if the Club wants to appeal to a new generation, it's communications people need a rocket up their back side!!!!

None, but if you still believe the CAMC (as it's now known) is a "club" in the twee true sense of the word and not a commercial business then yes, a rebrand isn't for you.

After rebranding, I picked up a lot more new customers. It works.

Sorry , but i dont like this new Logo. Having worked with many marketing companies in the years gone by i know this will not of been cheap and the new re-branding of all the sites , uniforms , stationary , web design, cl locations , pubicity adverts. OMG how much of the clubs money has just been spent. If this had been spent on site improvements or even a site fee reduction ... now that would bring more members into the fold .. if i look to join or go somewhere i dont think mmmmm thats an inviting logo i look at the services / facilities and read the feedback. i have seen some of the remarks on Facebook already this morning and alot are feeling the same way.... on the consultation with its members when was this .... are we talking a small paragraph near the end on the magazine.....

Working for a large company, I've seen many logo changes over the years and all for the good. It's reminding the world that the organisation is thinking ahead, making itself more attractive to new-comers, keeping up with the times. Yes of course there's a cost to these things but relatively less if we were still back in the post-web days. Yes you're going to get disgruntled people, but as with any change, there's always resistance. Some people just don't like change.

Me, I love it. The thought that's gone into the new logo is brill. I you haven't watched the video on the background of the logo, do so.

Well done Caravan Club, or should I say Caravan and Motorhome Club, for taking the plunge.

Makes sense to change the name to me. Motorhome are very popular now so might attract more income.
