Caravanner of the Year on BBC this April!

Just watched the Youtube clip on Twitter....you have been warned! (Think "BakeOff" with dented vans.....)

I stated when Rowena first raised this issue that, in my view, it is divisive and wrong to name someone as caravanner of the year. It's a leisure activity, not a competition, and one person's supposedly high standard will not be another's. What criteria can anyone use to judge who is best? What sets the judges above the rest of us? You guessed, I won't be watching.

I had to laugh at the short clip, I assumed that entries were of a standard that's pretty good and entered with confidence. It looked like a Benny Hill sketch

I shall watch it for the entertainment value, hoping it doesn't paint the wrong picture of us.

Looking forward to seeing it - especially to see the tasks they have been given.  I don't think I will take it too seriously though.

Looking at the You tube offerings, it looks as though it may be quite entertaining, so have set it up to record.

Don't knowe about Sky Plussed. Nonplussed may be nearer the mark.

thats the end of my contribution to the TV License, how could the BBC stoop so low as to make a programme about Caravanning......channel 5 and 4 fair enough but the BBC !! 

i will be penning a strongly worded letter to the Director General......
