Club Together will be hosting Ask the Expert with our Social Media Manager, Graham on September 12 at 6pm.

Graham will be here to answer your questions about social media at The Caravan Club, and will be giving advice on how you can engage with The Club via its new social channels.

This year The Club has launched its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram profiles to join the ranks of Club Together and YouTube, and this is your chance to find out how social media is developing at The Club and how you can get involved.

Start submitting your questions here which will be answered LIVE on September 12 from 6pm – 8pm

Thanks for the response G, I suppose it is rather difficult. Predates your time with the CC I guess, certainly well over a year, possibly 18 months now since improvements were first mentioned. Fingers will remain crossed.

Could I please reiterate my question from earlier. Are comments on Facebook monitored? Will you allow negative responses?

We are now in the period defined as the 'anthropocene'. It seems that we were promised the 'new' CT back in the Pleistocene or earlier. How soon is "soon"?

The Caravan Club has been around a long time Cyberyacht, but I am sure we were not pre ice-age. To your point, I can’t expand further on when the site will be live but know that our IT department are working very hard to deliver the new capability. I can assure you that when we have a firmed-up go-live date from our IT team we will be communicating to all members through all channels – including social media. Have a good evening. Kind regards, G.

Just a last question, if there is time. 350,000 figure, is this number who have registered to use website, or just the CT element? Does the Club have the capability to differentiate? Thank you.

Hi Goldie146, we want social media to showcase the best of The Club and our members.  Comments are moderated to ensure that they are compliant with our house rules, please refer to http://www.facebook.com/notes/the-caravan-club-uk/house-rules/1040974835937893

Kind regards, G

Took me a few moments to realise what TCC is!!  More marketing-speak.

It is not the number of people who have an account that is relevant, but the number of people that use them. And measured against an appropriate unit of time.

I ask how many members of TCC use CT by logging-on (or in) more than eleven times in a year.
