Friendly Campsite

Winchester Morn Hill Club Campsite
Nice location, handy for buses into Winchester or New Alresford, nice village and handy for the Watercress Railway Line. The site is nicely laid out with very spacious pitches. Without exception the staff were amazing.

Great site

Winchester Morn Hill Club Campsite
We had a three night stay in our motorhome. Having not visited the site before, we were very happy with it. Had a great walk over the South Downs into Winchester. Took the bus to Alresford and went on the Watercress Line steam railway to Alton and back. Had good dinner at the Bell Inn in Alresford afterwards. The site was very clean. The showers were immaculate, plenty of hot water. All the wardens were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return again to do some more exploring.

First class site in great location

Winchester Morn Hill Club Campsite
Fabulous refurbished site. Pitch was level, facilities look new and are immaculate. Site is well laid out with very friendly and helpful staff. Good motorhome service point with easily accessible waste point. Very easy access to and from the M3. Didn't notice any road noise whatsoever on our 2 night stay, despite the relative closeness of the A31. A busy site, even at the beginning of October), so worth booking ahead at peak times and probably weekends. Benefit of the A31 being so close is that the bus stop is an easy 5 minute stroll from the site. Buses run to and from Winchester on a regular basis, which is the easiest way to travel to Winchester. Can thoroughly recommend a visit to Winchester Cathedral and the free tours that are available. Site is also very well placed for an overnight stopover if catching the ferry from Portsmouth. Will certainly be visiting here again as want to complete the cycle route that is a 25m loop taking in the River Itchen north of Winchester.

Immaculate site

Winchester Morn Hill Club Campsite
This was my third visit and I wasn’t disappointed. The site is absolutely immaculate - large level pitches that are beautifully kept, and first class refurbished facilities which were spotless. The wardens were lovely, as always, smiling and saying hello at every opportunity. The site was fully booked yet didn’t feel busy at all. I love this place and will keep coming back.

Helpul Wardens

Winchester Morn Hill Club Campsite
We stayed here for one night on our trip home from France. Following a tiring drive in France and then a ferry we arrived in the evening to find that the one 'awning pitch' that remained free was in a part of the site that wouldn't guarantee a quiet nights sleep away from the worst of the site lighting. The women on duty that evening quickly swapped us to a free 'non-awning' pitch and advised a quiet area of the site. We had a good restful night before another long journey the following day. Thanks very much to both of them. This is a site we use a few times a year and we always find the site and facilities to be maintained to a high standard.
