• Alcázar of Segovia - fortified since Roman days, the site takes its name from the Arabic al-qasr (fortress). It was rebuilt in the 13th and 14th centuries, but the whole lot burned down in 1862.
• Aqueduct of Segovia - Segovia's most recognisable symbol is El Acueducto (Roman Aqueduct), an 894m-long engineering wonder that looks like an enormous comb plunged into Segovia
• Burgos Cathedral - located in the historical centre of the Spanish city of the same name, the Cathedral has a spectacular religious art and architecture display that inspired the diffusion of French Gothic art in Spain

• Windmills and winery tours - visit the magical town of Consuegra. In its surroundings you will find the famous windmills with which Don Quixote of La Mancha fought, mistaking them for fearsome giants
