Both the restaurant and the snack bar serve delicious local produce and have stunning views. The pool, gym, free scuba diving taster sessions and the hiking trail that leaves directly from the site along the cliff tops to the Duino castle, provide the sportier plenty of sensations to enjoy.
Trieste is only a short drive along the coast and this magnificent city and port is bursting with architectural, historical, gastronomical and shopping delights.
Up in the hills towards the Slovenian border you can taste the local farmers produce at trestle tables, walking and mountain bike trails dot the countryside.

Coming from Venice take the A4 motorway and for the best access take the Monfalcone exit and continue for 8kms to Sistiana and the campsite is on the right before Sistiana Mare.

Not impressed with the pitches we were offered as part of our booking, mostly in the middle of others, some dilapidated looking tourers. We paid quite a lot more money for larger pitch overlooking the bay. Excellent on site pool and good restaurant/bar area. Facilities were spotless... Show more
