Why stay here ...

A rural site set inland, Le Domaine du Logis is well-kept by enthusiastic owners. The facilities, which include an excellent restaurant that’s open most of the season, are housed in converted barns and farm buildings, giving the site a traditional Breton feel.

Popular with a range of nationalities, the site has large, grassy pitches with easy access. These have a range of settings, some open and some in a woodland environment.

Bikes are available to rent at reception, and the flat routes along the canals are a real pleasure to cycle. The picturesque city of Rennes, with its 17th century parliament building and extensive Thabor Gardens, is half-an-hour by car, while nearby Combourg is worth visiting for its granite fortress and pretty lake.

A very well run site

The site makes a good first stop after arriving at Caen from the early morning ferry from Portsmouth. Booking in was efficient. Excellent facilities for families and we liked the friendly bar and the take-away.

Our fourth time here and it never fails to impress us

Our fourth time staying on this site. In the past it has been our stop off site on our way to and from the ferry. As it is one of our favourite sites we decided to make it a 5 night stay this time. Excellent as ever.... Show more

A Pleasant Site

We stayed here in early July 23. This was the second time we have stayed at this site (first in 2017). The welcome staff were very helpful and took the time to learn your name. The pitches are good, well cared for, but not very big, ie an adequate size.... Show more

Second Visit

We stayed here as a couple for 5 nights at the end of June beginning of July. The site is easy to find and access. We had stayed here once before in 2018 and found that not much had changed since then. This is not a criticism as the pitches... Show more
