Days 1 - 6: Plitvice Holiday Resort to Travnik

Day 1 –Arrive at Plitvice Holiday Resort 

Arrive at the campsite and meet your Tour Hosts and fellow members. Enjoy a welcome meeting and meal with your fellow tourers.

Day 2 – Free day to enjoy at your own leisure.

Enjoy your free day at the campsites three tiered outdoor pool. Or you may like to take a visit to the phenomenal Plitvice Lakes National Park.

Day 3 –  Arrival at Camping Sarajevo.

Depart Plitvice Holiday Resort campsite and travel to your first campsite in Bosnia, Camping Sarajevo.

Day 4 – War Tunnel Museum and Jewish Cemetery 

Today's excursion creates the opportunity to learn about the history of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Guided by a local survivor you will visit the War Tunnel Museum and Jewish Cemetery. Enjoy a traditional buffet lunch in Sarajevo

Day 5 –  Enjoy a free day at your own leisure.

Enjoy a day at your own leisure. You may like to enjoy a day in nature at the campsite, situated on the river Zujevina. Or explore Sarajevo, located just 10 kilometres from the campsite.

Day 6 - Travnik 

Venture out of Sarajevo to visit Travnik, located in central Bosnia and Herzegovina. Explore Travnik’s sights including Travnik Castle and embrace the rich historical and cultural heritage. Take some time to sit back, relax and enjoy a Bosnian coffee or refreshment at Plava Voda ‘Blue Water’.

Days 7 - 13: Mostar to Durmitor National Park

Day 7 – Arrival at Mali Wimbledon, Mostar

Settle in at the campsite then enjoy a traditional Bosnian welcome drink.

Day 8 –  Experience Mostar

This full day excursion will dive into the depths of Mostars history, discovering the city from East to West, creating the opportunity to learn and understand its history. A visit to Mostar would not be complete without a visit to the iconic UNESCO protected Old Bridge. Visit the stunning village of Blagaj, a protected heritage site. Built into the base of a cliff this village is the location of the source of the river Buna. Whilst here, you will visit a national monument - the fascinating Blagaj Tekke Dervish monastery that dates back to the 16th century!

Day 9 – Free day at your own leisure

Day 10 – Arrival Camp at Bocha's

Today you will continue your journey to Durmitor National Park. Your campsite is Camp at Bocha's, situated 2.1 kilometres south west of Zabljak, the main town in the Durmitor National Park.

Day 11 - Free day at your own leisure

Day 12 - Durmitor Ring

Explore Durmitor National Park on a full day jeep safari tour. Travelling off the beaten track and around the Durmitor Mountain, passing canyons and stunning scenery along the way. Meet the local people, to learn about their culture and sample some of the local products. Enjoy a local home hosted lunch.

Day 13- Free day at your own leisure 

Explore Durmitor National Park, a nature lover's paradise.

 

Days 14 - 20: Camping Maslina to Our Lady of the Rocks

Day 14 - Arrival at Camping Maslina 

Today on your Balkan Adventure Tour, leave the beautiful Durmitor National Park behind and travel to the Adriatic Coastline.

Day 15 - Skadar boat cruise and wine tasting

In the morning, enjoy a boat excursion in Skadar National Park. Your cruise will take you via Crnojevića river and Skadar Lake to the village of Žabljak. After enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. End the day with a wine tasting.

Days 16 & 17 - Free days at your leisure

A couple of free days to explore more of this area and its stunning coastline.

Day 18 - Arrival at Camping Zlokovic

Continue along the Adriatic Coastline to your last campsite in Montenegro, Camping Zlokovic.

Day 19 - Our Lady of the Rocks 

Today's excursion begins in Perast village where you will take a short boat journey to Gospa od Škrpjela (Our Lady of the Rocks). In the afternoon, visit Kotor, on the UNESCO list of protected cultural heritage. Explore the city and indulge in some of the most famous Montenegrin delicacies, such as Njeguški prosciutto, cheese and local Montenegrin wine.

Day 20 - Free day at your leisure

Enjoy a free day at your own leisure. In the evening, enjoy a meal with your fellow tourers at the campsite restaurant.

Days 21 - 25: Dubrovnik

Day 21 - Arrival at Solitudo

Travel to Croatia and arrive at your last campsite, situated on the Babin Kuk peninsula.

Day 22 - Free day at your own leisure

Day 23 - Guided tour of Dubrovnik

Set off on your excursion to Dubrovonik. Enjoy a guided tour and admire Rector’s Palace, Sponza Palace, the baroque Cathedral of the Assumption and Onofrio’s Fountain built in 1438 as an aqueduct for the city’s water supply. Followed by some free time in the afternoon to wander its UNESCO protected old town and to discover Dubrovonik at your own pace.

Day 24 - Free day at your own leisure

You may like to go back to Dubrovnik to explore the sights at your own leisure. In the evening, enjoy a farewell meal with your fellow tourers and take the opportunity to reflect on the memories you have created on your Balkan Adventure tour.

Day 25 - Depart Campsite

It’s time to bid farewell to your fellow tourers.
