We stayed here for 10 nights, early august 2018 in a touring caravan. as mentioned already its a big site, but where we were pitched was quiet. the pitches were a little small thus meaning that with our 7.5 metre van, awning etc we struggled to get our car on aswell so could only park it half on the pitch. the amenities were great, swimming pool was excellent, and we spend many days there. the supermarket is well stocked, and relatively cheap considering its a shop on site. the site is well situated for Barcelona and surrounding area.
***** you will require a continental hook up adapter. *******
only negative is depending what pitch your given the pitch surround is hard to get the caravan over and if you dont have a mover you will struggle to push it on.
the phone signal is good within the local area and vilanova is a great place to visit, lovely beach etc.
First class, ideal for visiting Barcelona
We stayed three nights here in order to visit Barcelona. This is one of the best sites we've ever used in Europe, barring the fact that it can be a tad noisy at night. Take earplugs if this might be a problem. Other than that - it's top class. The bus is currently route e16 from right outside the gate. every 30 min Mon-Fri, hourly at weekends, either 1hr15 or 1hr30 journey respectively and about 5€40 single fare.
Not that wonderful
We chose to stay here on our way back from Southern Spain for no other reason other than convenience - it was at the right place to break the journey home. It is an enormous site - and thus is a little impersonal. Good and polite check in with an escort to the pitch - through some very tight turns which with a 7.5 metre caravan was not so easy. It was impossible due to lack of space to reverse onto the pitch - we rather had to unhitch and use the mover but the height of the kerbstone around the pitch made getting onto the pitch a challenge. The super pitches are big enough but the waste water outlet is not well suited and require some creativity in connecting to it. Pitches are well shaded meaning poor TV signal but probably good in the summer. Lots of statics rented out - many French cars on site.
Doubt we would return as we were not comfortable with the size and product offer
Well organised site
We stayed here for a week in mid-May to meet our son who flew into Barcelona airport to join us. The site location was ideal for this - he was able to take a bus from the airport to the bus station in the nearby town of Vilanova del Getru, and then travel on the local bus to the site, in the main summer holidays the bus apparently also stops off at the campsite at the weekends.
We were very happy with our pitch, as we'd pre-booked we were allocated one in a quiet area of the site, very close to a large toilet block. Some pitches around us were a little small for large outfits but long-term campers are probably given a larger one in a dedicated area.
The toilets were very clean and modern, the pools were large and had lots of loungers and umbrellas - though the umbrellas by the restaurant were temporarily out of use as the grass was being tended to. We had a couple of really nice meals in the restaurant, the featured menu was very reasonable for 3 courses. The supermarket was one of the best we'd seen on a campsite - ideal if you forget something, though a bit more expensive than the town shops.
We were able to take the bus into Barcelona from outside the site and also one to the local town of Vilanova del Getru - which was a very nice place with a large beach, a pedestrianised shopping street and large morning market.
The site was fairly busy but we could imagine it would be overflowing in the main summer holidays, there were lots of static caravans and cabins, some owned by companies like Eurocamp. We were pleasantly surprised by this site, yes it is very big but well-organised and well-kept.
Well laid out site with excellent facilities
Well laid out site with excellent facilities including supermarket, restaurant and swimming pools. Good bus services to Barcelona. Friendly and helpful staff but be careful of the raised kerbs around the pitches, I bent my jockey wheel...
Enjoyable short stay in January
I chose Vilanova park because it is close to where my friends live near Sitges.
Never been to a large site like this, but it is well laid out and easy to find your way.
Facilities are excellent, and everything beautifully maintained, even in low season.
The office staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Will certainly stay again, though probably not in high season - too busy for my liking!

Nice site
We used this site as a stopover travelling further south. A busy site with a lot of the pitches with no sun due to all the trees. This is understandable for the hot summer months but a problem for some in the winter months. Good supermarket didn't use the restaurant. The showers though were the problem with very low water pressure.
Excellent Site with good bus communications
Stayed 2 weeks in October on our way further south.
Very large site with large pitches complete with electricity, water and drainage. Beware that the drainage point takes some ingenuity to use - it consists of a 50mm hole in the vertical brick post that also contains the water tap - the only way to get your waste into this is to connect a waste hose into the hole and the other end to some kind of funnel which can be held above the hole and empty your waste into the funnel - not easy believe me!!
There are extra charges for wifi which was not a good signal. Our neighbours paid for 4 weeks wifi and after trying to connect for 5 days asked for their money back. You get 1 hours free wifi if you buy a drink at the bar.
The indoor pool was great and is free from 1 Oct. onwards - in high season it costs 4 Euros per visit.
There are excellent bus communications from the site - buses every half hour into Vilanova and also a direct bus to Sitges and Barcelona.
Nice but noisy at weekends
We stayed for 30 days in September. The restaurant was more than adequate and the supermarket was the best I have seen on a campsite. The noise at the weekend is horrendous from the bar area if you are situated in G section. There is a bus service outside the gate to Barcelona and the town of Vilanova which is very convenient but if you want to walk or cycle from the site, forget it. Do not think I would come back again.
Great Family Site
Second year running we have stayed at Vilanova for 3+weeks. Lots for children to do day and night, kids club, sports sessions, mini disco as well as the other facilities advertised. Restaurant and snack bar good, reasonably priced food and good service. Local beach nice with watersports and buses right outside for Barcelona, the airport and Sitges. Added bonus this year with the water slides. Only negative is the wifi..But no big deal on holiday. Cheaper than a lot of other sites in Spain and a lot cheaper than France to eat and drink. Great place!
