Chillin' in the sun
Peaceful
A great site for a few nights or a longer stay.
We stayed twice on our way to and from the Dordogne in June this year, staying for 2 or 3 nights each time. The site is very well kept, most of the pitches are a reasonable size and some of the riverside ones are large. There is plenty to see and do in the area (more than we had time to do), and the receptionists are very helpful. All speak good English (or are English!). If you are there on a Friday go on the walk round the local vineyards that Sarah leads each week. There is water close to all the pitches and the toilets are kept spotless. The pool is good, although perhaps a bit small for the site, but that's a minor niggle. There is a shallow pool for kids too. There is an on site bar and restaurant with wifi available at a sensible price and they have a basic range of groceries and commodities in the shop. All in all a lovely and well run site.

You will not be disapointed!
A lot of good things have been said in previous reviews about this campsite, believe them, because they are true. You will not be disapointed at all! Go and try for yourselves, but not for a 'stop-over' you need 5 days to visit many nearby attractions, and appreciate to excellent campsite itself. Swim in the river with the fish, enter upstream and float downstream in the gentle flow of the river towards the bridge, wave back to the people watching you from the camp-site, you will not be dissapointed at all. Stayed June 2015 9 days, met fellows campers making our stay even more enjoyable.
