Two nights spent at Chateau Gandspette en route to Dunkirk for the ferry home. Well located for a 45 minute drive to the port. Well maintained site with reasonable size pitches and although a very large site, it was laid out well. Facilities were all good and clean. We sat on the terrace of the bar/restaurant which had a nice ambiance. A lot of the tables had been reserved for dinner and we were told that the food was good.
If you want peace an quite you should request a pitch away from the pool/playground, all of which looked excellent for families, our children would have loved this site. Overall we were very impressed with this site and would happily have spent longer here.
Good site for Dunkirk
Nice site near to Dunkirk we only stayed 1 night instead of 7 due to ill health stayed there last year and hope to return so we can do more sightseeing which we had planned this year
Staff very helpful and pleasant

Highly recommended
Just 40 mins from Calais, which was perfect on our way home stop over. Lovely site with lots going on but not noisy. Two pools very clean, one heated the other not. Very helpful staff. We would recommend and book this site in the future.
Another good night
Stayed here one night at the start and end of our holiday. Both times had a well maintained, level pitch.
We have used this site on several occasions before (there's enough in the area to warrant staying several days though we didn't this time). We much prefer it to Bien Assise; though both are fairly pricey. It's helpful to have a supermarket (with fuel) 1km away as well.

Great Family Friendly Site
Lovely well maintained site with friendly staff, large site with immaculate facilities, there are 2 pools, one heated, a bouncy castle, a children's mini gym park and play park, tennis court, indoor games room, restaurant and takeaway (very reasonable), good location for Calais port or euro tunnel, large grass pitches and supermarkets are a 2min drive from the site, would not hesitate to recommend this site, we gave facilities 4 stars only because there could be more bins situated around the site and closer chemical toilet drains, but that's probably just being a wee bit picky, but was thinking of less able caravanner's
Great site for overnight stop, or longer
Friendly reception, quick check in, lovely pitch surrounded by flora and fauna, almost garden like. Well priced bar and restaurant. Immaculately clean facilities left us wishing we had a bit longer to just sit out and enjoy. Will definitely be using this site again
Super site!
We have used this site a number of times over the last 10 years or so. It is perfectly located for the Dunkirk ferry terninal. It is very well organised by excellent staff who cannot do enough for you. The pitches are a good size.
Although this site is used by many as an overnight stop before getting on the ferry early in the morning this was not disruptive - we woke to find ourselves almost alone and had not heard the neighbours leaving. Great site for touring the area.
PEACEFUL SITE
We stayed at this site twice once on our way to Italy and then on our way home. The site is so tranquil and there is so much to do around the area that we wished we had stayed longer. Shower block absolutely spotless as were the grounds. Reception very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
TOP CLASS SITE
STAYED HERE FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THE END OF JUNE FOR 5 NIGHTS. TOP QUALITY SITE IN A FANTASTIC LOCATION.OWNER AND STAFF EXCELLANT, FACILITIES FIRST RATE ALONG WITH THE BAR AND RESTURANT. WELL SIGNPOSTED AND EASY TO GET TO CHUNNEL AND FERRY PORT.WITHOUT DOUBT WE WILL USE IT AGAIN AND GREAT PLACE FOR A HOLIDAY LET ALONE A STOP/OVER.

Excellent overnight stay
We stayed here for just one night on our way home as it is just 40 minutes from the car ferry. Would return to this site if we wished to explore this attractive area. Very good site and we had a really excellent and inexpensive "French" meal in the on-site restaurant. Our pitch was near a very new, enclosed, double glazed wash block. One of the best we have ever seen! Water could easily be too hot!! Also, small supermarket with cheap fuel within a mile.
