We had a very warm welcome at this site. The pitches are level, but the nature of the site is such that it is very pretty, tranquil and right next to the river. There is a gate straight onto a riverside walk, which is very welcome after a long drive. The birds are the only noise you will hear. There is a bar and a small cafe here, but we didn’t use either. The pool is fairly small, and indoor. We would definitely come here again.
Overnight stop
We had an overnight stop here on our way south.
When we arrived the whole campsite was underwater with the river flowing through the middle.
Under the circumstances most sites would have been closed, but we were welcomed with open arms by the owner.
She gave us a choice of two pitches, the carpark, plugging in to the laundry, or the Bourne which was completely flat concrete, we chose the latter.
The owners horses were wandering round and they were very friendly.
We cannot comment on any of the facilities as everything apart from the shower block was closed.
We will be calling in again on our way north, and hope to see more of the site.
Great for wildlife
What a lovely little site this is, a gem! A bit tatty round the edges, but nicely run by the family and with enough facilities to keep children out of mischief. We particularly liked to walk down the river in an evening with our dog, beaver-spotting (yes, there are beavers on the far bank in various places, so keep an eye open). Lots of beautifully-coloured damselflies and dragonflies flitting about near the bank, and a huge bird of prey. A glass of wine at €1 seals the deal! The bakery in the village makes cakes to die for, too!

A nice site in a good location
We stayed here this month with our T4 and our kids (3&6) the site is well kept and easy to get to, it's about 2 hours from the Calais ferry. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful and you can order fresh bread and croissants etc from the reception each day for the next morning at a cheap cost.
The pitches are a good enough size we got out T4 and awning on there with a fair bit of room around it. The facilities were clean and regularly cleaned. There is a little park, swings a pool and a trampoline for the kids so ours were entertained and loved all of them.
Reims is about a half hour drive with lots to see and do, we went to (amongst other things) the verve cliquey cellars, and the armistice museum.
A nice site a bit of a transient one with people often stopping one night on there way deeper in France or on the way back up to the ferry, but that didn't disrupt anything. We would stay here again.
Great stopover and very friendly site staff
We stayed here on our way to and back from Switzerland. Extremely easy to locate and close to the motorway. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Lovely spacious pitches and a swimming pool. Didn't use the restaurant. The village has a Carrefour with a good range of wine and a petrol station with very reasonable petrol prices. Only annoying thing is no loo paper in the loos!!!!

Convenient stop over
The site itself is well run and clean and handy for the motorway, it has friendly staff, the restaurant is limited to mainly pizza or chicken and chips.
WiFi charges are very high at €15 for the day
Guignicourt has a small small super market which is handy for basic provisions other than that it is pretty soulless.
