This is a great site on a great location. Walking distance to a lovely beach and walkable to North Berwick. The site is very clean and staff helpful. The only downside is that it is a long walk to dispose of your rubbish and recycling. There used to be bins but now they have moved them to a central location. They cite that it is to save on plastic bags but I guess it is a cost-saving measure (and the site is not cheap). From a sustainability perspective (as a sustainability consultant) the notices that have been put up are a bit of greenwash. The moving of the bins to one location results in minimal saving of plastic. Think about the number of bags that are used by customers in comparison. I would prefer the site to be honest and say it is for cost saving...
