Seashore is now spoiled by illegal campers

Yellowcraig caravan site is near the beach and it is one of the most spectacular in Scotland with a sandy bay, rocks and offshore islands. Unfortunately the car park is now being used by illegal campers on the beach. It has a tap, toilets and shower making it perfect for illegal campers. The beach had almost twenty large tents and people were sitting with fires, chairs, barbecue equipment and loud music. Apparently this happened last year and the East Lothian Rangers are turning a blind eye to this desecration, despite telling the newspapers that campers will be moved off. What a shame...

People are camping responsibly taking there rubbish away so don’t see the problem I’ve got a Motorhome and use the official site and have spoken to a few families who are enjoying the beach and being sensible about rubbish etc
