First ever trip - a great experience

Yellowcraig was our first trip in our motorhome and first visit to a caravan club site.  The wardens couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. They explained clearly how things worked, pointed out facilities such as the dog wash, and told us just to ask if we were stuck.  We did have questions and they answered these all with good humour and later checked that we were getting on okay. The site itself was a revelation.  All areas were immaculate and the site had a general air of being well loved.  We liked touches such as the help yourself herb garden.  Younger children were having a ball in the play area and the dog walk was very handy for a quick whizz around first thing or before bed.   Despite many day trips to North Berwick we had never visited Dirleton or Yellowcraigs before.  The village is a pleasant stroll along the John Muir Way, with pubs and the castle.  We really enjoyed our dog walks down to the beach towards North Berwick.  There's an adventure play park on the way to the beach for older kids.   We'll definitely be back - I booked for next week within an hour of getting home!  Thanks again!
