Essentially a quiet, peaceful site with a range of pitching options set close to lovely coastal scenery. The sandy beach with offshore islands is within a few minutes walk. Do explore beyond the immediate coastal strip by taking walks/bike to nearby villages where golf and bird watching are popular. Countless food options in the villages of North Berwick or Gullane to name only two. We are still finding new places of interest even though we know the area well. There is much to see and do. The site is spacious, level and fairly sheltered. The wardens are welcoming, helpful and busy about the site keeping it neat and tidy. On arrival the entrance area was a bit congested because, like ourselves, many units arrived too early having failed to note the hour delay to opening. It is not easy for members to break the habit of noon opening which many members prefer as witnessed at many sites this year. The Wardens met it all with good grace. Be aware that Club wifi is very poor and the phone signal is not great.
