A Bit Disappointed

We have not been to this area before and the photo of the site looks appealing. The reality is that there are many small pitching areas on the site and most are surrounded by trees and bushes. We need a hard standing pitch as we have a heavy twin axle caravan. There were only two hard standing pitches left when we arrived and due to the trees we never got any sun on the pitch we chose. In addition, the fact that the site does not have WIFI made it a very unsatisfactory visit. In these high tec days when people need to stay in touch with businesses that they are trying to run it seems that the Caravan Club are not being forward thinking at all. ALL Caravan Club sites should have WIFI available. Having said that it is a well positioned site and good for families. Not so well suited to touring couples. Taking the train to Edinburgh was an adventure and enjoyable.
