A Very Comfortable Site

I used to live near Slough and this site is ideal for visiting the area. The refurbished toilet block is excellent and we have stayed here in all weathers, form summer sun the several inches of snow. It is very well located for London and yet you are clearly rural. There is plenty to do within a reasonable walk and we have always found the wardens to be very helpful. The recommended entry route avoids the bulk of the narrow Tilehouse Lane- so abandon your Satnav!

This is a lovely site wardens are very helpful, great location for london and theme parks with the kids legoland chessingston and harry potter studios.  helicopters are a bit noisey(only one night) we just turned the tv up problem solved this is and ideal base camp will definitely be using this site again one note make sure you use the caravan site directions note sat nav else it will take you do a very long lane check on google maps if you have problems with sat nav set it for denham garden village then its just up at the top of the road and turn right you only have a very small narrow bit much easier

Lovely site - but!

The site is well run, very clean and quiet. You don't even know you're close to London. However - the access road is extraordinarily narrow. We have a motorhome and tow a car behind and unfortunately we came up against the only bus that runs every two hours to the site. We had to unhook the car and reverse that back before the bus could move past. We couldn't move forward due to a brick wall.  Also apparently residents use that particular road as a rat run. They drive extremely fast and expect you to move over when there is no room to manoeuvre. That being said, the site itself is so idyllic and well kept that I would stay here again. Might unhook the car at the bottom of the road and follow the motorhome instead of towing it the last mile and a half.

London base

We found this site ideal when travelling from the West Midlands. We endorse all of the previous reviews, it it very clean and tidy, the Toilets are superb and there is noise from the nearby airfield. If you are going into Central London I would point out that the Oyster card does not apply from Denham station, so be careful. We were advised to travel to Hillingdon (15 mins) by a TFL Station employee where parking was available every day (£6 per 24 hrs). We preordered a zone 6 travelcard which gives unlimited travel within the Oyster controlled area on Overground, Tube, Buses and DLR. Overall, apart from the aircraft noise (Worse at weekends) this is a wonderful site in a nice location.

Good base for short breaks

Chose this site as a base for visiting various attractions, including Bletchley Park, Hampton Court and St. Albans, over a six-night stay. Spotlessly clean, especially the (new?) washroom block/indoor washing-up area. Easy access to major routes. The shopper bus into Windsor is great, picking up within the site. Yes, there is quite a lot of noise from the local aerodrome, especially helicopters, and the various aircraft can affect the TV reception. Good fresh fish and chips from Stoby's in Denham. The wardens are very helpful, but are unable to sell much in the way of provisions due to the very small reception area, so stock up before you arrive!

Great holiday

Site superb, we cancelled our awning site a week b4 we went, as not required. But there were lots on awning sites but with no awnings, which is unfair to anyone wanting one. We usually have the pick f any open pitch, but were offered choice of two,  but we asked to go on one next to it. Staff lovely.

Enjoyed our stay but!!!!

Just returned from a week at this site.Good location and excellent facilities. Only one gripe we had booked an awning pitch on arrival we were offered two pitches  both unsuitable we asked why we couldn't choose a pitch and were told these were being kept for Motor-Homes surprise surprise caravans were on them the next day. Another point is most of the awning pitches that were in use did not have awnings up!!!!!  All the time we were there
