We stayed here July 2016, pretty site and handy for travel into Liverpool. We used the train at just under £5 return from Hoylake station which is 15 minutes away with free parking. 

Unfortunately we had neighbors who had a family BBQ and who thought it was a good idea to site it opposite our caravan door behind their own car away from their own door so we had all their smoke, and so had to shut our door and Windows on what would have been a lovely evening. They also had visitors who parked their jeep across our front blocking our view. I am surprised that this was allowed as all the cc sites we have been on have had a strict parking policy of one car/van/awning in that order! Perhaps the Wirral site is more lapse? I can't believe they weren't seen as it wasn't far from reception and they had been there most of the day. I doubt if it was safe in the event of a fire as there was no suitable fire break between their jeep and our van!
