Immaculate facilities but...

The friendly, becoming staff keep the site and it's facilities immaculate. However, after after 20 years the shower block is looking and smelling very tired. I believe a refurb is imminent. The site is within a 5 minute walk of an ASDA - longer by car. There are also pleasant traffic-free riverside walks to Stockton (20 mins & Middlesbrough (80 mins on Transporter Bridge). The Beefeater next door is good and very popular, so it's best to book There is a constant background traffic noise from the A19/A66, but far enough away so you can't hear individual vehicles.

Needs update

Good site with friendly wardens but in need of some TLC, also surprised how few hardstanding pitches there are for an all year site.

White Water Park

Nice site and kept extremely well. Toilet block is kept lovely and clean, but is now old and and would benefit from an update. Very friendly and helpful wardens who work extremely hard. A few irresponsible dog owners about!! WiFi poor and slow which is a pity. Very good for cycling and walking. Good bus service nearby.

Noisy Dogs

Love this site, been quite  a few times and will return. Agree with comments about Toilet Block in need of refurbishment as the Drains smell and there are loose tiles on shower floor resulting is squelching when stood on and water coming up sides, however they were kept lovely and clean even on a busy Bank Holiday weekend. Great location. Can walk down to shops on Portrac Lane or along River into Stockton or across to Teeside Retail Park which we walked (25min) over to one evening and had a excellent meal in Rainbow Casino (worth a visit even just for the food).(taxi back £3.00). Also had a nice meal in Talpore Inn right next to site.Only negative of the weekend being a few inconsiderate Dog owners letting their dogs yapp on and on spoiling peace and quiet.

good site for everything

We spent a long bank holiday weekend here with friends and we have no complaints about anything. Pleasant wardens, lovely clean facilities, shops selling anything you need within walking distance and although it's next to busy roads, there's no road noise. Lovely little bunnies roam the site and they stick to the 5 mph speed limit

bank holiday weekend

We spent a lovely bank holiday weekend at White Water, even though the site was full it remained a peaceful site. Big congratulations to Andy and June for the fabulous display of flowers around the site. This site is local to us just 25 mins away from home but once on site you could be anywhere, always a warm welcome, well done Andy and June on your first year as wardens

Good for cycling and walking

This a paradise for people who enjoy cycling, Excellent cycling paths nearby very flat and well maintained.Easy access by car, cycle or walking to all the facilities you may require. The site itself is well looked after by very helpful and friendly wardens, The shower block was kept clean and tidy, However it is a bit dated and anyone over 5'9'' may find the shower heads are too low for them!! All in all a site we shall visit again  if only for the cycling.

Nice relaxing break

Stayed from 18/8/2015 to 21/8/15 and once again had a lovely few days at this friendly well ran site. The staff here a so helpful and friendly and the site in general always has a welcoming feel about it.Nice and secluded but shops, pubs etc only a short walk away.We only live around 13 miles away so it`s nice and handy for a last minute weekend getaway.Fast becoming one of our favourite sites.

Great site let down by poor facilities

This is our local CC site and we use it for mini breaks without having to travel too far. A warm welcome from the friendly wardens, immaculate site, very well maintained and my six year old Grandson loves the play area and riding his bike with the other children. The only thing that lets this site down is the facilities, namely the showers. In a sentence, they are the worst I (we) have ever seen one CC site!! The drains from the showers stank, cracked and broken tiles, hardly enough room to move in the cubicle itself, very, very poor, my Grandson said while he was in there "Grandad, the water smells like it's dirty" In desperate need of updating!!, come on CC!! Overall though, a lovely site, Talpor pub very nearby serves lovely food and the Tees Barrage is excellent. Close to loads of shops, inexpensive train fairs to York, Newcastle etc.

lovely site highly recommended

As a regular to this site I am very confused with the negative review we have just read, we are pension age and a dog owner and we find this site perfect, the wardens and assistant wardens are pleasant and helpful the facilities are very good and always clean, we can only conclude that the people who write negative reviews don't feel the need to follow club rules, we would recommend this site to any age group and families. Keep up the good work
