Just a belated thank you to June and Andy, Marie and Chris for a brilliant Christmas and a great new years eve, we are so looking forward to seeing the makeover it, so long overdue. And to all the members who keep moaning about they don't want loads of hardstanding well a lo to of us winter caravanner have been asking for this for a long time now, so wwe'll done white water, At last..., Best wishes to Marie and Chris and the dog in there new venture running there own site, we will miss you.

Mud,Mud,Mud

Stayed over New Year and the Refurb is needed. We were asked if we would be going out in our M/H during the 5 night stay. On saying " unlikely" we were stuck on a side road near the adjoining " NOISY" Hotel. We were blocked in both front and back for the 5 days and with the narrow road had to step straight into mud and water. there were empty hardstandings but obviously saved for folk who had the sense to say they would be going out! All this for over £20 a night! Of course we could not move to another pitch (loads empty after 2 days) because we were blocked in. I look forward to more hard standings. I was told I could go on grass ( 4 ton m/h) and even my shoes were sinking!

A great New Year at White Water Park

We have just returned from spending six nights over the festive season on our first visit to White Water Park. The site is well located between Middlesbrough, Stockton-On-Tees and Thornaby. Perfect for us as we were visiting family for New Year. The site is due for a refurbishment but all the amenities and facilities were clean but just tired looking. We had a great social get together on New years Eve in the games room hosted by two of the nicest wardens we have met so far on the network. A real credit to the Club. Looking forward to seeing the site after the refurbishment is complete and we will certainly be visiting again. Thanks for a great New Year.

Refurbishment??

We love this site and live locally so its ideal for a quick last minute weekend if needed and longer planned holidays. Why oh why is it taking so long to refurb? I agree in updating the site especially the childrens play area but do we really need 60 hardstanding pitches? I for one love a grass pitch with my 3 young children and small dog. I just hope your not going to turn a great site feeling like a car park and where can we see the plans? I only comment because I care and Ive been staying at this fantastic site for the last 8 years. Please dont spoil it !

Great Site

We stayed at this site for a weekend at the end of November to test out out new caravan the site is only about 5 miles from our house. This is a great location with a good pubs and shops locally. We had a nice walk around the whitewater course and lunch at the Riverview cafe. At the time of year we visited we were not very happy to be pitched on grass (mud) but there were no hard standing pitches left. Not great with 2 kids but it's all they had.

Great site

We stay here quite often and it's a lovely site. Wardens are really nice and work hard to keep it looking in good condition. Plenty to do and see around the area for all interests, walking along the river, trip to the hills or shopping and a nice high street after being refurbished. It's the widest high street in uk so I am led to believe. Good shopping centre at Teesside Park which also has a cinema and casino. Can understand why the site is being refurbished with hard standing as many pitches are grass,should be great when it's completed but cannot believe it's taking 8 months... Come on. Cc don't waste the summer it's too good to wait that long...

JUST UP THE ROAD

We only live 38mile away but this is one of our favourite sites .very clean.and very friendly staff and so close to retail world and Stockton only 10mins walk away and excellent dog walks . We will always return there

Will miss this site

We use this site frequently to visit family. It is always welcoming with spotless, warm facilities, and access is even easier now the roadworks are finished. Good phone TV and Wifi reception on pitch 50. Lots of rabbits round the van in a morning (which we think is cute). Don't know what we will do between 6 Jan and next August... :( But we're very much looking forward to the refurbished site... :)

dont be put off

Stayed at this site once again for a long weekend. Always a pleasure to stay here but don't be put off by recent thefts, as warden informed us police have some of the culprits. The wardens where straight over when they seen kids hanging around, so this is being dealt with. Everything is spot on with this site, its a shame its being closed for a refurb. But please cc, don't make it all hardstanding. The grass is a pleasure to be on and always looks nice. Some hard pitches don't look nice after time.

shame

well this site as well situated for access shame thieves can also visit the site we live fairly close so we come usually 2 times a year but this year it was spoilt by thieves so we left a few days early only other complaint is that as some other sites its getting expensive so much we have been to private sites which are better value fore your cash.
