Good for families

Facilities are starting to look tired, play area has gone, some pitches have no wifi.

We have visited this site a number of time over the last 7 or 8 years and always had an enjoyable time. So when planning a trip with one of our grand daughters, we thought we would head back to Kessingland - particularly as it now boasted premium wifi. The staff were lovely at check in (as they were throughout our stay) but failed to advise us that there was quite a large dead spot in the wifi coverage. Needless to say, it was only after I had erected the (large) awning that it became apparent that we had chosen a pitch right in the middle of the wifi dead spot! We then sent off our grand daughter to enjoy the nice, but small play area we remembered from our previous visits, only to be told it had completely disappeared! We were also disappointed to find that the facilities are now getting very tired and are desperately in need of a re-fit. Having said all that, the site is beautifully kept and the staff were very nice - a particular thank you to the lady who took the time to find us when our grand daughter lost her purse and it was handed in to the office Overal, we had a nice holiday - Africa Alive is great, Framlingham Castle is fun and the beach at Lowestoft is good for youngish children.

We found exactly the same when we took our grandson here two years ago.  But it seems my review has been removed.  Really poor the club still hasn’t sorted a play area for a supposed beach front site. Although even the beach is almost unuseable for kids, great for sea casting but not building sand castles etc.

Looking back on my reviews it looks like the club removes any with less than 4 stars.
