Originally booked for one night, we liked it so much we stayed for the rest of the week. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Smashing Site!

This was our second stay at White House Beach, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, notwithstanding my wife injuring herself on the beach ( a trip ending with a broken wrist!) We found the wardens, Peter, Sally,David and Celia to be friendly, most helpful and attentive to the well running of the site. The pub is very handy with excellent food and decent beers, the bakers in the village(Bushells) has lovely bread and rolls, and Beach Fish and Chips is very good. We can’t wait to come back Oh, and our little Spaniel ,Bella, has a wonderful time in the sea!

Wow , wow oh and Wow

If you stay here then pick a beach side pitch. Through the gate and over the promenade and you are onto the beach ! Fantastic location lovely beach and sea. (Few Jelly fish one day ). Along the prom about 5 mins is a cafe / bistro/coffee shop another 2 mins you are at the pub and 3 more mins you have the best beach shop I’ve ever set foot in. Then a bit further a chip shop ..sea , ice cream, souvineers and a pub ..perfect. Next to the site is a Static site that also has a really well equipped shop. Site staff were friendly enough and the none beach side of the site looked nice also. Highly recommended and will be back for longer next time.

Seaside Site

Great location for a seaside holiday without the normal commercialisation. The wardens are hard working and friendly. The only criticism of the site is the beachside facilities block needs a total refurbishment. That said we will return again

loverly friendly staff, clean and quiet site.

While the site is very clean and tidy the staff do a walk around several times by looks of it and tidy up if they see anything. a few areas are a bit tired like the main washroom is a bit tired but its functional, there is several dog bins and rubbish bins dotted about and the dog area behind the main washroom is a good idea but I did notice a large gap by the gas tank area that smaller dogs could go under but it is a nice area for dogs to play. the pitch I was on (number 24) was clean and tidy and did drain ok in the small bit of rain I had overnight, defiantly a site to bring a good torch if you go for a walk once sun goes down. NISA shop nearby at park dean site(Of which I don't recommend anyone camp there as they often get noisy people on site) there is a pub nearby and 2 chip shops(1 at park dean and 1 in opposite direction) beach is a few mins walk away and is a mix of stone with sand areas. safari park is nearby which is good to go around and worth the money. I would recommend this campsite to others and it's 1 I would come back to again in the future.

Lovely staff, great location

I would agree with other reviewers that although the staff are great and the location is good, the facilities are clean but tired. We were on the beach side, which is affected by road noise, quite small pitches and an unattractive fence between us and the road. Our main gripe was that despite a notice saying that adequate wifi was available at all pitches, this was not the case, and this coupled with poor mobile signal meant that we ended up paying £5 a day or £15 a week for premium wifi which I think is a bit of a rip off. In this day and age we all depend on wifi and come to expect its availability. In addition, the TV signal did not work even with an aerial connection. That said, we had a lovely time and even extended our stay, but that was more because of glorious weather and a good location rather than the site facilities.

Facilities are starting to look tired, play area has gone, some pitches have no wifi.

We have visited this site a number of time over the last 7 or 8 years and always had an enjoyable time. So when planning a trip with one of our grand daughters, we thought we would head back to Kessingland - particularly as it now boasted premium wifi. The staff were lovely at check in (as they were throughout our stay) but failed to advise us that there was quite a large dead spot in the wifi coverage. Needless to say, it was only after I had erected the (large) awning that it became apparent that we had chosen a pitch right in the middle of the wifi dead spot! We then sent off our grand daughter to enjoy the nice, but small play area we remembered from our previous visits, only to be told it had completely disappeared! We were also disappointed to find that the facilities are now getting very tired and are desperately in need of a re-fit. Having said all that, the site is beautifully kept and the staff were very nice - a particular thank you to the lady who took the time to find us when our grand daughter lost her purse and it was handed in to the office Overal, we had a nice holiday - Africa Alive is great, Framlingham Castle is fun and the beach at Lowestoft is good for youngish children.

Average site

We stayed on the beach front part of the site in our motorhome . We had a pitch on the second row ( front row would have been better )which backed on to quiet a busy road with people and cars passing by most of the day and early evening. The views from the motorhome where lovely( as higher up) but sat outside on the chairs lower down you just got the fence which was in need of TLC ..maybe a mesh fence or something more pleasing to the eye would have been better The other part of the camp site looked nice and quiet but no great views . The wardens where lovely and very helpful Last bit of road in quiet tight if you met anyone else Toilets and showers where clean The immediate area itself didn’t have a lot to see apart from the beach front . However there was a bus stop 10 mins walk away which you could get to a lot more places such as Southwold which was beautiful and just 25 mins away and if you had a car a lot more places . You could also do a nice walk from the site along the beach and if you had a dog would be ideal There was a public house within walking distance but we didn’t try it as looked quiet basic

I needed a decent WiFi connection, but..

This is a very pleasant site with nice helpful staff. I chose a hardstanding pitch with easy access to site facilities. Despite notices stating that the WiFi had been upgraded to provide free WiFi to each pitch, this proved not to be the case. There was this service provided on pitches approx 30 m away. In addition to this, the tv booster system provided an extremely poor signal, frequently failing all together. We were onky staying for 4 days and did not find these problems until after we had pitched and put our awning up. To change pitch would probably have solved these problems, but that would have been a pain! Having said all this, the site is well worth visiting again, but I will need to take care when selecting my pitch next time. For these reasons I have not awarded 5 stars

Great location peaceful stay

The sites a great location for access to the beach which is fantastic for dog walks, safe swimming etc. There’s a pub just round the corner. The site was quiet and peaceful although we did go outside school hols. The staff gave a warm welcome and the facilities were up to the usual club standard. We will be back.
