I don't understand the previous poor review of this site. We have just been for 5 nights. The place is a credit to the wardens who from our experience were very nice people, approachable and very understanding when both our dogs became very ill. Yes the shower blocks are not brand new but are kept spotless and more than up to the job. We stayed on the main site which is a very pleasant environment. We used the restaurant to eat one night.(you need to book well in advance because of its popularity) All I can say is it's excellent and not too pricey. Being able to walk out the gate and on to the beach to walk the dogs of a morning and evening was wonderful. The Pub is a bit run down but OK for a drink and a little further down the road is a tea room, fish & chip shop and small gift shop. All these places are very dog friendly as is the beach all year round. Well worth a visit and very well run by the team of wardens.
