Welcoming and warm introduction by name as I entered the reception to book in. We had pitch No 2 on the beach side of the club site. Having reported a faulty electric connection at No. 1 peg this was soon attended to by a member of the Site team within 10 mins. The fault determined and rectified quickly and efficiently. My wife and I also had good neighbours during our stay on peg no 3. Steve and Katy They were experienced motorhomers and campers from Sheffield. Very helpful to us in sharing knowledge as we are both novices We thank them for their friendly support. We experienced the waterfront restaurant which we must say was very good both in friendly service and quality of food. The pub next door the Sailors Home again was a friendly experience and the food was typical pub grade. Original ales with a very extensive range were on offer.. General coastline is shingles which ideal for walks and dog exercising (plenty of that going on). The odd patch of fine sand was to be found ideal for the young little campers. Ideal location to watch the sunrise which we did one morning at 0430hrs but alas the clouds spoilt what otherwise would have been and ideal photo opportunity. The site cleanliness was very good and activities carried out daily by the site team could be observed. All in all a very good site which we would and hopefully visit again.
